QA Apprentice

The QA Apprentice is a unique full-time starting position designed for individuals with little or no prior QA experience. The primary responsibility of the apprentice is to learn the foundations, principles, and processes of Quality Assurance while gaining hands-on experience testing real-world applications alongside other QA Technicians. Through this program, the apprentice will develop essential skills and gain invaluable experience to prepare them for a transition to an entry-level QA role. This apprenticeship is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about software quality and looking to launch a career in the field.

Technical Knowledge

• Gain a basic understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Gain a basic understanding of Scrum and all Scrum ceremonies
• Gain a basic understanding of Manual Testing Methods, Levels, and Types
• Gain a basic understanding of Test Scenarios and Cases
• Gain a basic understanding of the team’s tools, standards, and processes
• Gain a basic understanding of ADA compliance testing
• Creates basic bug and enhancement reports in GitHub
• Creates basic acceptance tests for project tickets and deliverables
• Can create the QA Certificate of Completion
• Entry-level experience with web, mobile, and data testing
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
• Can generate Google Lighthouse Reports
